Description: Restorative yoga is probably unlike anything you have ever experienced before in a class setting. Each participant in the class is positioned in deeply supportive postures through the use of bolsters, and blocks and secured further by sandbags. Our aim is to create deeply relaxing physical support. Support creates release. The release happens through the "deep brain" nested in the body. The result is sublime.

Description: Yin yoga is a long, slow and deliberate practice. Passive, often relaxing postures are held from 1 to 10 minutes at a time. Our intention is to learn to hold postures with a meditative frame of mind and to release tension held deeply in ligaments and tendons. Postures are supported through the use of props and many modifications are possible.
