Visit the Settings > Notifications page from your Bookamat dashboard to enable an extensive list of helpful
Step 2. Notifications for staff
Visit the My Business > Staff page and edit any staff member to enable their notifications. Staff can
receive notifications from clients who join classes they are teaching.
Step 3. Notifications for clients
Clients will receive notifications by default. They can also disable notifications by signing into their
Bookamat account and going to My Account > Notifications. You can also control client notifications settings
for added convenience.

Can Bookamat send my clients a happy birthday notification?
Absolutely! You can set your clients up to receive a happy birthday notification on their birthday. You
can also enable a notification to remind you of any upcoming client birthdays.
Will my clients receive reminders about upcoming classes or payments?
You bet! Your clients will receive notifications about their upcoming classes and about upcoming
payments if on recurring passes. Your clients can also unsubscribe from notifications if needed. We've
taken care of everything!
Can I compose emails to send to my clients?
Absolutely! Bookamat lets you compose and send emails to all participants in any activity, or you can
send an email to your entire client list (up to 1000 individuals). For larger lists simply connect your
Mailchimp account to Bookamat!
Do you have SMS or Whatsapp notifications?
We are working hard towards bringing SMS notifications to Bookamat. If this is important to you, please
