How do online payments work?

A:

Bookamat has partnered with Square Payments and Peach Payments to enable clients to pay safely and securely for bookings online. No credit card details are stored on Bookamat’s servers. Our integrated online payment processing allows clients to pay for bookings using their credit or debit cards and enjoy instant booking confirmation. 

We aim to transfer online card payments into your nominated bank account on the 6th day of each month. It's the best way to streamline your booking process and saves the hassle, and cost, of setting up your own payment gateway. 


Online Card Processing Fees 

  • Bookamat Australia: 2.2% + $0.30c per transaction
  • Bookamat South Africa & Namibia: 5% per transaction


Please note that online payment processing is optional. Businesses can also use Bookamat to receive their client payments directly into their bank account via bank transfer or EFT (electronic funds transfers).
